In association with SAG-SITAA/SAC, a series of experiments have been initiated on Ka band propagation impairment at NESAC. Under this project a Disdrometer, a Micro Rain Radar (MRR), a Tipping Bucket Rain Gauge and an Automatic Weather Station (AWS) have been installed for regular collection of data on various rainfall parameters. It is also planned to install a Beacon Receiver and a Radiometer very soon.
